Adara Anderson, LPC
Clinical Manager and Licensed Mental Therapist
Adara Watts Anderson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and Delaware with more than 8 years of experience. Adara has always been a listening ear to others and feels the power of the therapeutic relationship is transformative. She has experience working with a variety of individuals and couples and specializes in treating those with a history of traumatic experiences, anxiety and depression, relationship issues, and women's issues.
Adara’s clients appreciate that she offers a ton of empathic support and makes them feel safe in therapy, yet she doesn’t shy away from giving honest feedback or challenging thoughts or beliefs that might be getting in the way of progress.
Adara uses a collaborative approach that is client-centered which means she believes- you are the expert in you! Adara has earned a master’s degree in
Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2016.
Dr. Sonya Boggs, LSW, LMSW
Lincensed Mental Health Therapist
Dr. Sonya Boggs is a Doctor of Marriage and Family Therapy, Behavioral Specialist, and Licensed Masters Social Worker. She provides individual, couples, family, polyamorous, and group therapy. Her approach is guided by evidence-based treatment modalities, trauma informed training, and years of experience. She is skilled at working with children/adults with challenges related to anxiety, depression, relationships, addictions, abuse, infidelity, parenting/family building, PTSD, and those who have trauma related to culture, religion, or spirituality. She has an extensive background in understanding the trauma spectrum and the impact of stigma and discrimination on mental health from a cross-cultural perspective.
Utilizing a blend of CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT-C), Imago Relationship Therapy, Gottman Method, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Reality Therapy, her mission is to help clients develop a better understanding of their situations, who they are as a person, the role they play in their relationship with others, emotional triggers, and keys to happiness. Charles Sims, LSW
Licensed Mental Health Therapist
Charles K. Sims is a Licensed Social Worker and a figure of hope and resilience within the Philadelphia mental health landscape. With a Master of Science in Social Work, focused on trauma-informed care from Widener University, and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from La Salle University, Charles's academic and professional foundations are robust and deeply intertwined with his life's narrative.
Charles's roles as a Clinical Manager at Resources for Human Development and a Mobile Therapist at Mental Health Partnerships have not only allowed him to refine his expertise in critical areas such as crisis management, substance use counseling, and child welfare but have also been instrumental in his mission to foster change and growth in the lives of those he serves. Charles approach is both empathetic and transformative, employing methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (M.I.) to address and support the unique needs of his clients.
His life's mantra, "Your today doesn't dictate your tomorrow," reflects his own path to becoming a tangible example of change and resilience. This personal evolution informs every aspect of his work, enabling him to connect with clients on a deeply authentic level.
